We are Bread Springs Day School, proudly representing the Navajo District community and helping students excel above and beyond all proficiency expectations for reading, language arts, science and mathematics. Our mission is to create safe, caring and diverse learning environments for every Cardinal to access high-quality learning resources and modalities.
Every day presents a new and exciting opportunity for our Cardinals to gain the knowledge, skills, and behaviors necessary to grow into competent leaders of our sovereign nation. As Bread Springs Day School’s educational programs focus on empirical data gathered from standards-based assessments and benchmarks, all students will benefit from foundational instruction, optimal learning environments, and continual achievement.
Strategic Transformation of Education Plan (STEP)
During 2022-23 school year, Bread Springs Day School began implementing Director Tony Dearman's eLMS initiative. We are piloting his digital learning portal with a blended learning approach. Our students can maximize this opportunity by accessing the digital learning portal with a 1:1 student-laptop usage ratio. This approach gives our students every advantage with integrated applications, such as personalized and assessment-based math and reading curriculum, Native language and culture educational programs, and accelerated learning strategies for our tailored instruction. Every one of our students benefits from the robust learning strategy and the comprehensive application of these innovative tools and resources. Message from our Principal
Welcome to the new school year at Bread Springs Day School! I am so happy you are here.
This year, we will learn new things, play with friends, and grow strong in reading, math and more! We will also get to do fun projects, learn about Navajo culture and explore STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math).
Our school theme is: Rooted in culture. United in purpose. Growing strong learners. This means we learn about who we are, work together as a team, and do our best every day!
Our teachers and I are here to help the students. If you ever need help or have a question, just ask. We are a team, and we care about you.
