All Bread Springs' students, teachers and staff know exactly what it’s like to be new at school. We’ve all been there at one time or another. That’s why we make it a priority to make every new student feel welcome to our special learning environment. Here are the Top 5 Ways to Welcome New Classmates:

  1. Invite a new student to join your club, sports team or extracurricular activity. This is a way to find common interests and possibly a new friend.
  2. Take the initiative to start a conversation with the new student.
  3. Help the new student to find their way around school or with understanding an assignment.
  4. Never make a new student feel like an outsider or strange because of their personal appearance or  style.
  5. Show the new student that they are accepted for who they are, and that they do not need to fear being themselves.
